AIB Group (UK) get ‘A/A-1’ credit rating

International credit rating agency Standard & Poor’s has assigned its ‘A/A-1’ long and short term counterparty credit and certificate of deposit ratings to AIB Group (UK) plc, the bank’s British arm, advising that the outlook is positive.

“The ratings are based on its 100% ownership by Allied Irish Banks plc,” said Standard & Poor’s credit analyst Michelle Brennan.
