International credit rating agency Standard & Poor’s has assigned its ‘A/A-1’ long and short term counterparty credit and certificate of deposit ratings to AIB Group (UK) plc, the bank’s British arm, advising that the outlook is positive.

THE economy was praised yesterday by credit ratings agency Standard & Poor’s as it reaffirmed its highest ratings on the country’s debt.
