Race is on for Cheltenham prize

Cheltenham Racecourse has unveiled a new competition open only to Irish businesses, with the winner gaining free sponsorship of a National Hunt race at the track.

The Cheltenham SME Sponsorship Award is the first event of its kind at the home of National Hunt racing. Small to medium-sized businesses will be invited to outline their ambitions for their company, and how sponsorship would benefit them. The winner will be awarded with title-sponsorship of a race at the prestigious Bonusprint.com Gold Cup meeting in December and a race-day package, worth over €45,000 in total.
