Dua Lipa reportedly drops longtime agent after he tried to get Kneecap banned from Glastonbury

Dua Lipa has reportedly fired her agent after he signed a letter to prevent Kneecap to perform at Glastonbury because of their pro-Palestine activism.
The pop star has reportedly fired her agent, David Levy, after he signed a letter calling for Kneecap to be removed from the festivalâs line-up in July.
Several artists and professionals in the music industry had signed the letter, which was sent to Glastonbury festival founder Michael Eavis.
Among those who signed the letter was Mr Levy, Dua Lipaâs agent from the WME talent agency.
A source in the music industry told
that Dua Lipa fired Mr Levy because her pro-Palestine stance âdoesnât alignâ with his views.âShe views him as being a supporter of Israelâs war in Gaza, and the terrible treatment of the Palestinians and that was made very clear through the letter that he signed and sent to Michael Eavis,â the source told

Avon and Somerset Police said it will be taking âno further actionâ on the grounds that there is âinsufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction for any offenceâ.
The investigation had been announced in June after video footage and audio recordings from Kneecap were reviewed at the Somerset festival.
The trio commented at the time on social media: âWe played a historic set at Glastonbury. Whole area closed an hour before due to crowds. A celebration of love and solidarity. A sea of good people at the worldâs most famous festival.â
