Israel’s military says its strike on Beirut killed senior Hezbollah official

The Israeli military has announced that its airstrike on a neighbourhood of Beirut killed Ibrahim Akil, a senior Hezbollah military official.

There was no immediate confirmation of his death from Hezbollah.
