A man has been arrested in connection with an attack on a mosque in which bacon sandwiches were thrown at the door and abuse was shouted at worshippers.

A man has been arrested in connection with an attack on a mosque in which bacon sandwiches were thrown at the door and abuse was shouted at worshipers.

Police believe two men and two women were involved in the alleged incident at the Jamia Mosque in Totterdown, Bristol on Sunday afternoon – which also saw a St George’s flag left at the scene.
