A student has created digital ice cubes which warn people when they've had too much to drink.

Dhairya Dand came up with the products - which contain gelatin and are fixed with infrared transmitters, accelerometers and LED lights that change between green, yellow and red depending on how much a person has consumed - after ending up in hospital following a night out.
