'Cocoa Krispies bandit' strikes again

A US homeowner claims a man broke into his house to pour a bowl of cereal.

Mark Copeland was stunned to see 36-year-old man Michael White looking into his refrigerator, so he put him on his sofa and called the police.

Truck driver Mark dubbed White the 'Cocoa Krispies Bandit' after the incident, which saw him charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, giving a false name or address, criminal mischief, and failure to comply with sex offender registration.

But Mark was grateful he was at home during the incident, and revealed he only went back to his house because his truck load was cancelled.
