Randy the ram fathers 33 lambs in 24 hours

A ram named Randy has fathered 33 lambs in an 24-hour period.

The male sheep jumped over a 5ft fence and set about working his magic with as many ewes as he could lay his eyes on in 24 hours before he was found out.

Farmer manger Ryan Thompson was shocked at what had happened, but he saw the funny side of the situation.

He said: "We got a vet out to do a animal equivalent of an ultra-sound on a few that we thought were pregnant but he came back and told us that at least 30 were due."
