Burger burglar blunders with cop call

A woman in the US has been accused of robbing a fast food restaurant and then ringing up to see if the police were on her trail.

According to officials in Pennslyvania, Tyechia Lorraine Rembert pulled up at a Burger King drive-through and ordered breakfast but she then pretended to have a gun and demanded money.

Police were able to track Rembert - who has been charged with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault, reckless endangerment and making terroristic threats - by her mobile records because she later called the restaurant to see if any witnesses had got a look at her registration plate.
