French luxury shoe maker Christian Louboutin has lost a round in its court battle against rival Yves Saint Laurent, who Louboutin claims unfairly copied its line of women’s shoes with red soles.

French luxury shoe maker Christian Louboutin has lost a round in its court battle against rival Yves Saint Laurent, who Louboutin claims unfairly copied its line of women’s shoes with red soles.

Christian Louboutin filed the lawsuit in US District Court in Manhattan in April against competitor Yves Saint Laurent. Both companies are based in Paris.
