Two teenage girls have been executed by firing squad in Somalia.

Two teenage girls have been executed by firing squad in Somalia.

Witnesses say the pair, thought to be aged 17 and 18, were killed by Islamist militants in front of a crowd of hundreds of people.

The girls were accused of spying against Al Shabab - an Al Qaeda-inspired militia.

Al Shabab want to enforce a brutal interpretation of Islamic Sharia law across Somalia.
