Hundreds killed in recent Turkish attacks on Kurd rebels

Turkey has hit more than 200 Kurdish rebel targets in northern Iraq since December 16, killing hundreds, the army said today.

Up to 175 rebels were killed on December 16 alone, the military said in a statement posted on its website.
