A self-confessed drug dealer was put to death early today for the 1981 killings of a man and his pregnant wife inside their home, about an hour after the US Supreme Court cleared the way for his execution.

A self-confessed drug dealer was put to death early today for the 1981 killings of a man and his pregnant wife inside their home, about an hour after the US Supreme Court cleared the way for his execution.

Marvin Bieghler, 58, was pronounced dead at 2.17am (7.17am) after a lethal injection, Indiana state Department of Correction spokeswoman Java Ahmed said in Michigan City.
