Bali bar re-opens after bombing

Paddy’s Bar in Bali has reopened, less than ten months after a suicide bomber turned it into a blazing inferno.

Hundreds of tourists turned up to celebrate at the bar’s new premises, a building 100 yards up the street from where it originally stood.

“Tell the terrorists we are back,” shouted one Australian holidaymaker.

Several waiters who were working during the attack last October 12 were also on hand for the festivities on the Indonesian resort island.

The explosion at Paddy’s and a much larger one across the street at the Sari Club killed 202 people, including 26 Britons.

The attack was blamed on an Islamic militant group with links to al-Qaida.
