Earthquake hits Indonesia

A major earthquake has rocked Indonesia, measuring 7.5 on the Richter scale.

Geologists say the epicentre was nearly a 1,000 miles from the capital of Jakarta.

It is not known what damage has been caused or whether anyone has been hurt.
