Bridge disaster bodies swept 125 miles away
Two bodies presumed to be from the bridge collapse in northern Portugal have washed up more than 125 miles away in north-west Spain.
Seven bodies from Sunday's accident have now been found, six on the Galician coast where they were swept northwards by a powerful river current and Atlantic tides. One was in the river downstream from the bridge.
At least 53 people died when the bridge at Entre-Os-Rios gave way as a double-decker bus and several cars were crossing.
Emergency services spokesman Centeno da Costa said the two bodies were women and were "very probably" from the accident on the rain-swollen Douro River.
The search for bodies shifted to the coast of north-west Spain after four bodies appeared there on Thursday. Debris from the bus and a numberplate from one of the cars were also found in the area.
