Ex-team doctor settles case with Jose Mourinho

Chelsea and Jose Mourinho reached a settlement with ex-team doctor Eva Carneiro before she was due to give testimony that was expected to be highly damaging to the Premier League club.

Carneiro settled over her claims she was constructively dismissed by the club, and victimised by its former manager.

Dr Carneiro had brought the claim at an employment tribunal, accusing Mourinho of victimisation and discrimination.
