JK Rowling’s wizard world back in film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

The first trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has given fans a glimpse at a previously unseen part of JK Rowling’s wizarding world.

Starring Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne as magizoologist Newt Scamander, audiences are given their first look at New York in 1926 where the scientist has accidentally unleashed a series of magical creatures on the city.

“Yesterday a wizard entered New York with a case, a case full of magical creatures — and unfortunately some have escaped,” says Tina, played by Katherine Waterston, to an assembly.
