Hawaii may start ignoring requests for Obama birth proof

HAWAII may start ignoring repeated requests for proof that President Barack Obama was born there.

As the state continues to receive emails seeking Obama’s birth certificate, the House Judiciary Committee there heard a bill permitting government officials to ignore people who won’t give up.

Officials at the state Department of Health say it gets between 10 and 20 emails seeking verification of Obama’s birth each week, most of them from outside Hawaii.
