Evan Ferguson’s short loan spell in Rome appears to be coming a premature end, according to reports in Italy on Tuesday.

The well-known publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, has claimed that initial contacts with Brighton have already taken place with Roma over the Republic of Ireland forward’s return to the Premier League in January.
