Alvaro Negredo is named amongst the substitutes as Manchester City make six changes for the trip to Tottenham.
The Spain international missed the FA Cup win against Watford after injuring his shoulder in the Capital One Cup semi-final at West Ham and returns to the squad at White Hart Lane.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini has also included Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Vincent Kompany, Gael Clichy, Fernandinho and David Silva in his starting lineup.
Gylfi Sigurdsson replaces Nacer Chadli in Tottenham’s only alteration, with Lewis Holtby and Etienne Capoue included on the bench despite being heavily linked with a move before Friday’s transfer deadline.

Lee Cattermole is conspicuous by his absence from the Sunderland squad for tonight’s Barclays Premier League clash with Stoke.
Cattermole, who has been linked with a move to the Britannia Stadium in recent days, is missing – although he did pick up a knock at the weekend – as manager Gus Poyet restores nine of the men he rested for the FA Cup victory over Kidderminster to his starting line-up.
Stoke counterpart Mark Hughes has handed a debut to January signing Peter Odemwingie and recalled Glenn Whelan, Charlie Adam and Oussama Assaidi in place of Marko Arnautovic, Wilson Palacios, Stephen Ireland and Jon Walters.
