Lennon hoping for double boost

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is hoping to have Charlie Mulgrew (rib) and Adam Matthews (ankle) back for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Motherwell at Parkhead.

Midfielder Kris Commons (thigh), winger James Forrest (hamstring) and striker Anthony Stokes (ankle) remain out.

Lennon is hoping the forthcoming winter break – where the Hoops will spend part of the time in Spain – will allow them to recover.

Provisional squad: Forster, Matthews, Lustig, Izaguirre, Wilson, Rogne, Ambrose, Mulgrew, Brown, Kayal, Wanyama, Hooper, Samaras, Lassad, Zaluska, McCourt, McGeouch, Watt, Kidd, Chalmers.
