Trap: I may line out with five-man midfield

Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has suggested that he may line out with a five-man midfield at the Euros following last nights scoreless draw away to Hungary in Budapest.

Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has suggested that he may line out with a five-man midfield at the Euros following last nights scoreless draw away to Hungary in Budapest.

The manager admitted they were out-played at times during the game and credited goalkeepers Shay Given and Kieran Westwood, who came on at half time, for saving them.

The game was delayed by 10 minutes due to torrential rain at the stadium.

Ireland open their Euro 2012 campaign against Croatia next Sunday. Manager Slaven Bilic was at the game last night, but captain Robbie Keane said he wouldn't have learned much more about the Irish team.

"He would have watched a lot of videos of us over the campaign. He probably just came to seethe formation, but he would have already known that."
