Young dropped for Wolves clash

Alex Ferguson reacted to Manchester United’s shock Champions League exit by making four changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s Barclays Premier League clash with Wolves at Old Trafford.

Nemanja Vidic was ruled out through injury, whilst Ryan Giggs, Ashley Young and Park Ji-sung also missed out, with Jonny Evans, Antonio Valencia, Michael Carrick and Danny Welbeck recalled.

Wolves were looking for their first victory in this fixture since 1980 and pinned their hopes on Steven Fletcher, who scored both in last week’s comeback win over Sunderland.
