Berbatov left out for Magpies clash

Alex Ferguson has left Dimitar Berbatov out of the Man United squad for tonight's game against Newcastle United at St James' Park.

Ferguson has instead opted for Rooney and Hernandez upfront instead of the misfiring Berbatov after his poor performance in attack for the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City on Saturday.

Alan Pardew has opted to keep Stephen Ireland on the bench for the visit of United.
