Little gets call for Northern Ireland

Andrew Little of Rangers has been drafted into the Northern Ireland squad for the Euro 2012 qualifiers against Italy and the Faroe Islands.

Little, 21, who can play in defence or attack, was not named in the orginal group last week.

However he is now set to win his seventh cap after being given a late reprieve by manager Nigel Worthington.

Northern Ireland face Italy on Friday at Windsor Park, followed by the Faroes a week tomorrow, after opening their campaign with an away victory against Slovenia.
