Real Madrid have sent medical documents to the Portuguese federation to prove to them that Cristiano Ronaldo is injured.

Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz has called up the Madrid star for the two-legged World Cup qualifying play-off against Bosnia-Herzegovina but the club are adamant the player will not leave the Spanish capital as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
