Rio Ferdinand has been ruled out of Manchester United’s Barclays Premier League clash with Arsenal tomorrow because of a calf injury.

The England defender will not be risked in the Old Trafford clash, where a point will be enough for the Red Devils to retain the league title.

Ferdinand could return for the final league game of the season at Hull a week on Sunday, and failing that should be in line to feature in the Champions League final against Barcelona on May 27.
