O'Neill to discuss Laursen future

Aston Villa manager Martin O’Neill has lined up talks with Martin Laursen’s agent in a bid to sort out the future of the Denmark defender whose current deal expires next summer.

But O’Neill has put on hold further discussions with makeshift right-back Olof Mellberg – also out of contract in June – after the two sides could not agree financial terms.
