Schwarzer staying at Boro

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer insists he intends to start the season at the Riverside despite persistent speculation about his future.

The 34-year-old is entering the final year of his contract with the Teessiders and has turned down their initial offer of an extension.
