Manager Gareth Southgate will rest Jonathan Woodgate and is expected to play Huth – £6m signing from Chelsea – following his recovery from ankle surgery.

Striker Mark Viduka has recovered from a knee injury, but Stewart Downing (groin), Chris Riggott (ankle) and George Boateng (both ankle), Julio Arca (broken foot) and Ugo Ehiogu (Achilles) are all out.
