Morten Gamst Pedersen is back in contention for Blackburn’s clash with Sunderland tomorrow after missing the weekend game with Everton with a knee problem.

The Norwegian has trained for the last two days and is likely to regain his place in the team with Brett Emerton expected to miss out.

Steven Reid is a slight doubt ahead of the game with a back injury and will have a late fitness test tomorrow.
