Giggs set for bench duty

Ryan Giggs is likely to be on the bench for Manchester United tomorrow after recovering from a hamstring injury.

The Welshman has missed the last two games after limping out of the win over Liverpool, but he has returned to training and Alex Ferguson is hopeful the 32-year-old will suffer no reaction.

Alan Smith is available again after an ankle injury as Fulham visit Old Trafford, but Rio Ferdinand misses out through suspension.
