Reds duo return

Djibril Cisse and Dietmar Hamann return to the Liverpool squad for the visit of Wigan to Anfield after being rested from the team that beat Sunderland at the Stadium on Light on Wednesday.

Liverpool are without midfielder Mohamed Sissoko, who is suspended for one game after being sent off in the midweek 2-0 victory.

Hamann is expected to take over in the centre of midfield while Cisse is also likely to return to the starting line-up.

The Reds’ only injury problem is the absence of Bolo Zenden with a knee problem for the next month.
