Jose Mourinho's Chelsea and Alex Ferguson's Manchester United head to Old Trafford in a fortnight with a Carling Cup Final place still up for grabs after a Stamford Bridge stalemate tonight.

The hosts were unable to turn their dominance of possession into goals, although it took goalline clearances from Gabriel Heinze and Phil Neville to deny Frank Lampard and Jiri Jarosik respectively.

United could not manage anything as close in response, although they produced a massive improvement on their woeful display against Exeter in the FA Cup on Saturday and deserved their draw.
