Madrid move gave Beckham 'new lease of life'

England captain David Beckham believes his move to Real Madrid has given him a “new lease of life” and proved his doubters wrong.

Beckham joined the Spanish giants for £25m (€36.6m) last summer after forging his reputation at Manchester United, where he played on the right of midfield.
