Birmingham could be in hot water with the Football Association after referee Graham Barber confirmed he will be reporting a coin-throwing incident involving Blackburn keeper Brad Friedel during Saturday’s Premiership match at St Andrews.

Friedel drew Barber’s attention to events behind his goal at the Tilton End of the ground after Lucas Neill had scored the decisive second goal in Rovers 4-0 win.
