Portugal to open EURO 2004
Portugal will open the twelfth UEFA European Championship on June 12 with a Group A match against Greece in FC Porto's Estádio do Dragao.
22 days and 30 matches later, SL Benfica's Estádio da Luz will host the final on 4 July. In all, the finals will involve matches played in 10 stadiums across eight cities.
The quarter-finals will be played over the following four evenings before the first two rest days on June 28 and 29.
The semi-finals are on the evenings of June 30 and July 1, before Lisbon's Luz stadium stages the final on Sunday July 4.
