Bolton swoop for Bulent

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has made his third pre-season swoop, signing Turkish midfielder Akin Bulent from Galatasaray.

The 23-year-old left-sided midfielder has signed a three year contract at the Reebok Stadium and follows in the footsteps of Jay Jay Okocha and Delroy Facey in making the switch to Wanderers.

Manager Sam Allardyce told the club’s official website, www.bwfc.co.uk: ‘‘Akin is a highly-rated player in his homeland and is looking forward to playing in the Premiership with us.’’

Bulent will be unveiled by Allardyce at a 1pm press conference today.
