Vieira to stay if Arsenal win Double

Arsenal’s Robert Pires has revealed this his team-mate and compatriot, Patrick Vieira, will pledge his future to the Gunners if they clinch the league and cup double next week.

Pires was awarded the Football Writers’ Association’s Footballer of the Year last night and he marked his acceptance speech by disclosing that Vieira plans to snub Europe’s biggest clubs if Arsenal can succeed in the Premiership and FA Cup.
