Premiership: All change for United?

Alex Ferguson is expected to make changes as Manchester United face Aston Villa at Old Trafford tomorrow lunchtime, with next week’s Champions League clash against Nantes likely to influence his selection.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks certain to return to the starting line-up after being one of the substitutes for Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Nantes in France.

And Ferguson seems certain to revert to his regular 4-4-2 formation as United look to strengthen their lead in the Barclaycard Premiership.

The United boss hinted recently he may soon rest Roy Keane and Paul Scholes, and could see this weekend as the perfect opportunity.

Nicky Butt could then come into midfield and new boy Diego Forlan, who has yet to start a game, may feature.

Team (from): Barthez, P Neville, Blanc, G Neville, Silvestre, Beckham, Veron, Keane, Scholes, Giggs, Solskjaer, van Nistelrooy, Butt, Forlan, O’Shea, Chadwick, Brown, Irwin, Fortune, Carroll.
