Concern mounts over missing Celtic fan
Concern is growing for a Celtic fan who went missing on the day his team clinched the Scottish Premier League title.
Kevin Tollins, 31, disappeared on Saturday evening after apparently getting out at the wrong train station on his way home from Glasgow.
Mr Tollins, from Grangemouth, had been celebrating Celtic's title triumph following the team's 1-0 victory over St Mirren.
A British police spokesman said Mr Tollins travelled home with friends on the Glasgow to Edinburgh train, but failed to get out at Falkirk and was seen at the next station, Linlithgow, shortly afterwards.
CCTV footage showed him outside the station just after 9.30pm and shortly afterwards walking west along the town's High Street.
A taxi driver at the station who spoke to a man matching the description of Mr Tollins gave information to police which suggested that the missing man may have tried to walk home to Grangemouth.
Mr Tollins is described as being about 5ft 8in with short dark brown hair and he was wearing a green and white Celtic football shirt, black jeans, black boots and carried a grey fleece-type jacket.
He also wore distinctive gold-rimmed round glasses with thick lenses.
Inspector Alan Goldie, of Bo'ness police station, said: "I would ask anyone who may have information regarding Kevin's movements since leaving the train on Saturday, or of his present whereabouts to contact the police.
"I would particularly encourage anyone who spoke to him on the train or after he got off the train to come forward."
