Premiership: Manchester United astonish bookmakers
Manchester United have astonished bookmakers by scoring five goals against their nearest Premiership rivals Arsenal in 45 minutes.
Dwight York has scored a hat-trick inside 22 minutes, Roy Keane knocked in the fourth after 26 minutes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer converted the fifth in the 38th minute.
A spokesman for online bookmakers Blue Square says the odds on Sir Alex Ferguson's team achieving the scoreline would have been at least 500-1.
Thiery Henry had earlier scored for Arsenal to level the Old Trafford scoreline.
Arsenal's record defeat is against Loughborough Town in 1896 when they lost 8-0.
Manchester United's record win is against Ipswich in 1995 when they scored nine and kept a clean sheet.
