The injury suffered by Cork City’s Brian Lenihan in Friday’s loss to Bohemians is not as serious as first feared.

Right-back Lenihan was stretchered off after a nasty fall, with the game held up for 10 minutes.

It was the Rebel Army’s first league defeat in nine games, but thankfully it has not been compounded by the loss of the Republic of Ireland U21 international for anything longer than a fortnight.
