Algeria and Paraguay to face Ireland in RDS

GIOVANNI TRAPATTONI’S Republic of Ireland will entertain World Cup finalists Algeria and Paraguay in a pair of international friendlies at the end of May at Dublin’s RDS.

The May 25 (Paraguay) game and the game against Algeria on May 28 will be the final Irish internationals before the team returns to the Aviva Stadium on Lansdowne Road in August.

Algeria are in England’s World Cup group and clearly see Ireland as similarly-styled opposition ahead of the global spectacular in June.
