Celtic confirm Seville friendly

Celtic have confirmed they will play Seville in a glamour friendly on May 25 to mark Henrik Larsson’s departure from Parkhead.

The former Sweden international will quit the Hoops this summer after becoming the club’s third highest goalscorer ever.

Larsson joined Celtic under ex-boss Wim Jansen in 1997 for just £650,000 from Feyenoord.

But, after forging strong links with the Spanish city for last year’s UEFA Cup final, Seville will be the final opposition the forward will play against in a green and white shirt.
