Argentina in final

ARGENTINA beat defending champions Colombia 3-0 to advance to the finals of Copa America for the first time since 1993 - the year they won the title for the 14th time.

Carlos Tevez scored in the 32nd minute, while Luis Gonzalez converted a pass from Luciano Figueroa in the 50th, and Juan Pablo Sorin added the third with nine minutes left.

The loss ended Colombia’s 10-match unbeaten streak in Copa America, dating to 2001.

In Sunday’s final, Argentina will play either Brazil or Uruguay, who met in the second semi-final early today.
