Heaslip: Doping not a problem in rugby
Jamie Heaslip has said that the procedures to detect doping in rugby are "pretty stringent".
Speaking at the Ireland press conference at Wembley Stadium yesterday, Heaslip said that he himself has been tested numerous times.
"I don't think it's a problem in sport, I think the procedures in place are pretty good, pretty stringent," he said.
He added: "I've been tested numerous times, especially in this last quarter, if you want to call it, the last three months we've been tested quite a bit both after games and at half-six in the morning.
"As much as we don't like it, it gets done."
"It's part and parcel of the game, the procedures, and I think that they're in place and they do a great job of keeping the game clean."
