Woodward relishing Lions challenge

The British & Irish Lions arrived in Auckland this morning to begin their seven-week odyssey through New Zealand and head coach Clive Woodward declared: “We are ready for the challenge”.

As the players left Auckland airport, with a Lion mascot on the front dashboard, a sole All Blacks supporter performed the haka, laying down the challenge for the weeks which lie ahead.
